So far, what I saw was how different England play to Palace.
We are dynamic fast lots of quick through balls to expecting runners and loads of shots on goal. Basically bloody exciting to watch.
England are very technical, slower at advancing and longer build ups in attack.
Im not knocking England, but Im not sure Eze quite "fits' into their style. His bursting runs, flicks passes etc. maybe is not quite what Southgate wants.
Guehi was not quite on the wave length either, whereas against Villa, he played a great game.
Wharton.....well as many have already said, played some sublime quick simple but piercing passes that led to scoring attacking moves. What a player. Adapted well to the England slowboat. He is going places.
Will be interesting to see what happens v Iceland.
As a Palace fan, I am so happy we got Glasner. What a super positive difference he has made to our whole approach. Our players, their mentality, their fitness which has helped lead to exciting football, goals and results. Long may this progress into next season and beyond.
Can't wait. We are suddenly such a pleasure to watch which after all is what it is all about especially the way we win and keep winning.
