Neil Warnock
Neil Warnock felt referee Andy D'Urso denied Crystal Palace a penalty in their 2-0 defeat to Newcastle.
Kevin Nolan and RYAN Taylor put the Magpies in front inside the first 21 minutes but the Eagles were denied a spot-kick when Alan SMITH brought down Alassane N'Diaye in the box.
"SMITHy was all over Alassane and anywhere else on the pitch that's a foul, but that ref has never given me much over the years," said Warnock.
"We never really gave ourselves a chance. The goals were a disgrace at this level but you get punished by good players."
Newcastle caretaker boss Chris Hughton said: "We knew it was going to be a tough game with the manager they have here and their style of play.
"We knew we would have to play well in every department, and I thought we were worthy winners. Whatever the situation at the football club, the aim is to get back into the Premier League.
"And the players know that if they don’t show enough attitude and application, they face a long, hard season, but I cannot fault them."
