TOMMY BLACK has gone on a month's loan to Gillingham.

Former Arsenal trainee BLACK played the full 90 minutes in the Gills' 1-1 draw with Rotherham on Saturday.

Since returning to fitness after suffering a broken leg, BLACK has only made six appearances for Palace this season.

BLACK will use the four-week period to impress Eagles boss Iain Dowie in an attempt to return to the Palace first team.
