I have a feeling that we are going to have to save money to finance stadium up grade.

Saved loads of money on players let go, prob around £200 k a week, or €11 milkion a year, only signing a free goalie,

Although i thought US money was for staduim investment,

Made 13 million profit does not add up

Thoughts?

Who knows. £50 mil ringfenced for stadium work. It will cost closer to £100 mil for one stand. Mortgage or paid off with any profits. Possibly both with a flexible loan like Arsenal. If FFP prevents us spending everything then that could be part of your answer.

New stand(s) costs will be very limiting if we get relegated and a major balancing act.

From the corporate structure seen, there is one company for the stadium and another for the club. This may be part of the reason why the accounts were late being filed. My guess, and it is a total guess, is that funds are being segregated, one pot for the stadium the other for the club, including player staff.

Those ones building the stadia in Qatar work 'til they drop (off the scafolding usually), and I'm guessing they're not on big money

By doing this I think it gets around FFP as well.

I don't see stadium cost being an issue most of the funds are already in place and I expect other deals will be in place to offer more funds for it so really another say 50m is not that much to raise.

Spurs are the ones I expect to struggle.

Are we going to suffer with an £80 million stadium?

You bet! There still won't be enough lavatories to cope with the half-time surge.

Pretty sure I read that part of the agreement to build he new stand and have planning permission granted was for us to use local contractors

Cue stories of Chelsea and Millwall scarves buried in the foundations or in between walls.

I don't think it will affect FFP at all as all costs associated with the rebuilding will be capitalised and therefore won't affect profitability
