Here’s to hoping we pull our finger out during the April fixtures

Worst case scenario we go down who goes?

Zaha definitely will move on
Olise - in contract but wonder if there’s a relegation release clause involved, way too good for the championship
Ghuei - In contract but same as Olise?
Docoure - in contract but reckon he would absolutely boss the championship
Lokonga - I’d like to see Palace put an offer to buy if we went down… not sure he will make it into the arsenal first team next season?

A solid championship 4 player midfield imo would be Ahamada, Docoure, Lokonga & Eze (unsure on Hughes… all the time we have those mentioned I feel he would be a super sub)
Back 4 of Andersen, Mitchell, Clyne & Ward (wardy defo got a solid championship season left in him)
Up front Edouard + a new buy?

PL teams would snap up Andersen and Mitchell. Probably our keeper too.

Massively underestimated how painful it would be. If you want a worst case scenario, then this is the list of players Burnley lost:

Collins, Cornet, McNeil, Pope, Weghorst (Loan), Tarkowski, Mee, Westwood, Hennessey.

Our worst case scenario would be two of the three keepers, Guehi, Andersen, Mitchell, Doucoure, Eze, Olise, Edouard and every single one of the players whose contract is up.

Absolute best case is something like

Johnstone
Ward
Richards
Tomkins
Mitchell
Hughes
Ahamada
Rak-Sakyi
Eze
Ayew
New

Not much research in this post. I think we have 9 players out of contract so surely at least 7 or 8 will definitely depart - maybe someone like Ward will renew.
Lokonga is on loan so will clearly go back to Arsenal, so not sure why this is even being discussed.

We will definitely sell at least 2 of our prize assets. I suspect Guehi and maybe Olise will go if the a decent bid is received. There may be interest in others like Andersen and possibly Eze.
Not sure if we have relegation clauses in contracts. If OE can't be bothered to run around up top on £90k a week now can you imagine him on a reduced salary?

Players like Hughes will definitely stay. He has one year left on his contract and even if there is a relegation clause he will be earning far more than most championship players.

Some of our youngsters may get a chance - Rak-Sayi, Phillips, Rodney, Gordon, Ozoh etc

The way we have been performing in 2023, only a matter of 1-2 games till we are one of three teams in the relegation part of the table.
Here in Thailand, they show ALL PL games live. I have seen all the teams lately and we are by far the most unattractive side.
And we seem to get worse every week. Wonder what Vieira & Roberts are doing with the players on the training ground...

I would like to keep the players that look like they give a sh1t. At the moment, that wouldn't leave us with many players. The rest I already want rid of.

Basically we need 3 wins and a draw!
I think there are 3 wins left unless we totally fall apart and that is on the cards. The 2 games this week will determine if our manager stays or not.
Then we can start worrying who goes and who stays next season.
If we are relegated, keep Olsie Eze and GK and start again, because it will have been a monumental crash from a healthy position in the league. Over 10 games without a win - shocking. Bad results for Palace at the weekend too. Think we are the worse team in the Premiership. Man C looked 4 divisions higher than us.
I'M NOW READY FOR THE FLACK!!!

of course they won't, pretty one none expects us to get anything from the 2 next games but what comes after is a different matter....
