Robert Madley (31) from Wakefield will be in the middle.

His only other Palace appointment this season was the home reverse in the PL match v Man City.

Only three Premier refs are based south of the Midlands - Graham Scott, Simon Hooper and Roger East.

The ref that gave a pen against Jedi last season home to AFCB -the only such pen for that offence I saw last season. Sigh!

Yes it was Mike Dean.

Don't see much grappling now at corners ! Used to be like wrestling on 'Granstand' with Kent Walton !

Point of information: wrestling was on ITV, Grandstand (which didn't show wrestling) was on BBC.

Have to disagree here. Also in the same match, just after the penalty Dann was clearly manhandled....no penalty...inconsistantly prevails.
