After the game me and the kids will be heading off to the centre to see people asking for a fiver because they juggled some knives for 30 seconds after talking for 15 minutes.

Haven't got a train that way for a while but was wondering if Norwood Junction is a safer bet, literally, bearing in mind i have my nine year old daughter with me, or should I walk to Selhurst or Thornton heath Station and go from there?

Hi Kermie.....

There are NO trains to or from Selhurst/Fort n eef on Sunday so Norwood/ bus to Croydon are your only alternatives.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

London Centre or Croydon Centre?

According to National Rail Enquiries, somewhat to my surprise, both Norwood Junction to London Bridge and Selhurst to Victoria lines are working well which also means travelling to East Croydon will be fine. So shouldn't really matter. Or be adventurous and walk to the tram stop at Harrington Road.

Train time sites have Caterham service trains every 30 mins stopping at the usual, including Purley and east Croydon. No stopping at Purley oaks or South Croydon according to these sites.

No bother at NJ. There might be a pissed off hull fan or 2 if we beat them, but nobody is gonna cause a dad and his boy any trouble.
