I think the England experience has been an eye opener for Sam. He knows that the grass is not always greener so I think he will be with us for as long as we want him. He is not going to get a top 6 job, In Palace he has a chance to build something and to restore his reputation to an extent. He has a board that will support him and Fans that will get behind him and the team

Can't see him leaving. He will want to prove himself again in the premiership, has a good squad of players and as pointed out above he won't get a top 6 job. Clattenf*** went to Saudi for a pay day, which is fair enough and good riddance. Sam will already be minted so doesn't have to move to a Micky mouse league to fund his retirement.

I have to say sam's commitment to our club impressed me from day one.The man drove down on Christmas Eve to make sure he secured the job and was in the dug out for a lunch time kick off on Boxing Day when he was supposed to be off to Dubai for the holiday period.He could quite easily have said he'd start in the new year and we would have accepted that. But no, he wanted to get stuck in straight away. So based on that and his general demeanour of a man enjoying his work again he won't be going anywhere Edited by monkey (21 May 2017 1.28pm)

For the few that seem to think Sam is off, where do you think he's off to? China? Like f@*k is he! His wife would kill him. Sam is staying, just read his interview posted the other day. He knows that Palace threw him a lifeline and he's grasped it with both hands. Big Sam won't be going anywhere before his reputation is restored and by then we could be a decent mid-table proposition like Wet Sham once were.
