f*** me; it's kicking off at 3pm. What kind of insanity is that? I must consult the Radio Times to see what time 'Cup Final It's a Knock-Out' is on. Up the City!!

Yep, I've got a set in a box AS, but not Scalextric, mine is Aurora AFX. Bought it for my daughter's Christmas present when she was about 5 yrs old. Unfortunately it didn't go down well, so I had to play with it. Shame really. As for the Cup Final, as usual I'll be spending the morning getting into the mood watching the wrestling on ITV with Jackie Pallo vs Mick McManus then switching channels to BBC for coverage of the game without those pesky advertisements. Don't mind (care) who wins as long as it's a good footy match.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I just don't enjoy matches as a neutral - and can't pick either of these two who I just don't like. I guess if Man City win with the unresolved issues it will be the most humourous outcome. Although Maguire and Onana are a bit of a comedy duo on occasions.
