Dest played for USA in the recent World Cup. He was pretty poor vs Wales, but then he surprised me, and I thought he was one of the best USA players when he played against England. On his showing against England, I’d say he was a decent right back, got forward a lot. £17m seems a lot of money…but he’s a versatile player, he has played all way down both flanks in his short career so far, but is predominantly a right back. If we do sign a right back, someone who can fill in at left back would be an advantage as we have poor cover for Mitchell.
