I see Plange just got a hatrick for Helsinki.
Good to see he is only out on loan.
Unlike O'Brien and Sorloth. Both making major strides forwards since being sold.

It's taken Sorloth a long time to get his shooting boots on in a top European League.

As for Plange, it's good to see he's performing for Helsinki but the Finnish League is hardly a major European league. If his loan is for the whole season then we won't see him back this side of Christmas. The lad will be 22 by then. His current contract with us runs until next Summer so will be interesting to see whether it gets renewed. I'm inclined to think it won't unless just for a year so he can be sold to recoup what we paid for him.

I must admit that I saw the thread title and saw that it was in Transfer Talk and thought to myself that this is yet another strangely-named foreign player I've never heard of!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Eze and Olise were rejected by clubs previously, then developed. It happens with players.

It shows how far we have come as a club.

As it happens, I didn’t have my glasses on and I thought it said ‘Lionesses’ so I was ignoring the thread

Plange and Umeh looked a highly promising combination, Plange is a cool finisher.

Both were benched by Roy but didn't get a run out.

It must be hard to make it to the CPFC bench, maybe after years coming through like Kymani-Gordon (just released).

To appear on the first team bench, not get on, and get plonked off somewhere the following week, it's a waste.

Remember Wan-Bissaka came all the way up through the academy, got a break from Roy due to injuries, he was actually a winger, and never looked back.

Luck is so important.
