I posted about this a couple of weeks ago. At least the minx won’t suffer for so long. Why is this trade allowed? So much for EU animal welfare regulations. Please don’t anyone say they are kept in humane conditions

Latest News: China jumps in to rescue mink trade. Europe has culled mink now China has seen a gap and increased production of mink. Hopefully people will think twice about buying any of these products.

Still not surprising, they will probably start selling the as a delicacy at the street markets, if anyone supports this trade they need locking up. I think any woman walking through London wearing a mink coat is likely to have a tin of paint thrown over her. So I am guessing that the major market is Asia which if correct makes sense for the Chinese to move into.

If I remember correctly mink were imported here from the United States, and became an invasive species after some escaped. They caused havoc mainly in East Anglia and are still being trapped today. Can't think of a single thing in their favour, I thought mink coats went out years ago on grounds of cost and animal rights etc. Fancy Denmark the 'happiest country in the world' will not be so happy clearing up this mess.
