Does anyone genuinely like coleslaw? I detest it. To me tastes like rubber bands covered in mayo. Plus I disapprove of adding raisins to savoury food.

Stick some grated mature cheddar cheese in it and then put in a sandwich of buttered granary bread and sliced tomato. Nice. PS - I've never seen raisins in coleslaw matt? Edited by Hoof Hearted (15 Dec 2016 1.03pm)

Yes I do. I like it with chips . Never had the type with cheese in or raisins apple or any type of fruit. Like it at room temp too. Just don't call it slaw.. that really irritates me

I love it, one of my favourites. That said, when I was about 19 I finally got a snog with a girl I had been working on for what seemed like forever and we both had coleslaw breath. Kinda ruined it.

Needs a decent amount of mayo. None of this dry muck that seems to be the norm nowadays

Then you have never eaten that king of dishes Coronation Chicken which has raisins in? A genuine British Commonwealth culinary feast... It's disgusting. It's not curry. It's not savoury and it's not sweet. It is a glutinous spoldge of heartburn that when finished consuming in a sandwich, leaves you stinking and your fingers a disgusting colour. Whilst I am as much a patriot as the next guy, there are some parts of 'British heritage' I would gladly encase in concrete and fling into space, given the chance. Coronation b****** chicken is one of those things.
