Chelsea will have a say where remy goes and may feel West Ham doesn't suit them. Why would they help out a club that could be competing with them for the top four?

If Remy is looking for a possible permanent move at the end of the season then surely us over the Spammers ? They have a striker injury crisis, with Ayew and Carroll both crocked, as well as Sakho. He would go there but they would likely return him at the end of the season, as they would have to off load first.

Edited by james03 (25 Aug 2016 3.04am) Can't really understand what the benefit is of loaning Remy rather than buying him outright? We still have to pay his wages either way but can sell him on or loan him out if he's contracted to us. It's not as though he's an unknown. Surely, it saves money in the long run? No point in keeping the redecorating fund in the bank. Let's use that until we get the builders in.

It allows us to basically have him on a trial period for a year, if he performs and scores goals we buy him, if he doesn't we don't and save 10 mil.
