Wiki tells me he can double up as a CB or DM, perfect for Palace, go for it!

We're clearly going to go in for one or the other as a hedge. As long as we end up with one i dont mind, but Palace being Palace could see us lose out on both!

In Belgian media it is being suggested that Palace would have made the highest bid yet with £10M, but that Anderlecht would want £12M at least. Allegedly they are highly unwilling to sell him as they consider him to be a key player, but the player himself is now heavily insisting on a move as it's his dream to play in the PL. I think he would be a good signing for us, very powerful defender.

It's just nice to see us in for players and having a chance of actually getting them. Pardew would never have been so effective in this January transfer window! He'd of just gone all out for Evra and then bounce around thinking he's the nuts as he'd have Evra, Benteke & Cabaye on the team sheet!

I think it's more to do with the fact that the billionaire US owners don't want to see their investment devalue, hence the heavy investment to push for Premier League survival.

Of course, but do you think Pardew would have been so effective given the same free reign in this window? No chance … Pardew was also given proper funds over the summer and got rid of Jedi – the only natural DM we had – and didn’t replace him! I mean, this is basic stuff!

Or whatever would have to be accepted so that the player has time to get on his bike to Selhurst?)

The 12M referred to in your article refers to EUR instead of GBP (the 12M EUR +- equals the initial offer of 10M £)
