Hope the haters lick their wounds

That is all

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

Gets a bad press from some Palace fans, I think.

He has a good work rate, real strength and determination, very good close control. But some seriously erratic judgement re final ball at times.

And I'm with anyone who gets such a serious hump when substituted. Makes me smile, and proves they care.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

I readily admit to have been critical of Jordan Ayew but he has performed with aplomb whilst Mr Hodgson has been at the helm.
I give credit where credit is due.Jolly well done Jordan Ayew and continue the good work !

He plays on the left for Ghana and played well there in the last World Cup. Unfortunately that also happens to be Wilf's slot so he's spent most of his time with us on the other flank where he's not as effective but he still bust a gut for the cause, He had that one season as CF when Tekkers was injured and his goals, although only 9 of them, were in key games and kept us up (got us the double over West Ham and that winning goal at the Amex).

I was really pleased to learn he got an extension to his contract. He's a valuable squad member IMHO.

I know I mentioned this elsewhere, but we also have to acknowledge that he's not paid much, despite being one of the older players.

A replacement would likely cost a lot more, so his contract extension makes sense. Same for Schlupp. We already have a huge wages to income ratio.

He is actually very good value for money. More goals/assists per pound than Édouard... and likely a ton of other forwards in this league.

Haha, I said this the other day. It would be very Steve Parish to replace Zaha with Ayew, and the place would go into meltdown.

But there is a logic. Would Wilf's £130,000 a week be better spent in central midfield, right back, centre forward..? We already have Ayew and Édouard who can play off the left. Wilf's owned that position for so long, that no one has ever got to show what they can do.

He has been excellent over the last two games, he seems to have gained a yard of pace, and plays well with Eze and Olise, i also think that Schlupp has had his best two games of the season.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Jordan, don't smash it, head over the ball and strike it firmly.

Apart from that I have nothing but praise, and Wilfrid is a lot worse.

Outside of the goals my favourite moment from the game, for those who didnt see it, was when we were under pressure from saints by our own corner flag, from their corner, and Jordan not only won it back but ran it all the way down the line without any support and got the throw in for us deep in their half.

Was quite something to behold actually I’m chuckling to myself now in just what an underrated moment that might be.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Exactly and you can see why managers like to include him even if the fans don't.

An unsung hero.

Have to mention his goal v West Ham which was brilliant. Another memory is of how he played on with five stitches in his bonce against Leeds.
