If the rumours are true and Jake O'Brien is signing for Lyon I hope we are not being TOLD to do that because he is going to be a star.

Except that the story of Cain and Abel is in Genesis and not Exodus.

Is exodus the one with the brothers or something. One created Judaism and one became a muslim. It’s there somewhere I’m sure.

They are indeed brothers and the sons of Adam and Eve Cain murdered Able and was sent to wander the land of Nod , or as we refer as it today Spurs

There was a reason he spent more time on the bench at Wolves than on the field. He's horribly inconsistent, with his poor performances far outweighing his good ones. In fact the Henry Wadsworth poem about the little girl comes to mind.

"When he (instead of she) was good he was very very good but when he was bad he was horrid."

Massively inconsistent, but will get you out your seat, is capable of a match winner, would improve our squad and on a free we should definitely be in for him

We'd also need to pay for all that oil and the man who applies it before he comes on. If oil prices were to rise he could bankrupt us.

My main argument for Adama would have been we need someone, anyone, to come in in lieu of not one recognised winger being fit. Ayew, Schlupp, Eze, Edouard. I’m pretty sure two of those four will start on the wing. None of them are wingers.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I thought that was Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks and before that Peter Gabriel.

It is a very strange move. Especially the fact he is so highly rated.

The problem with any transfer with a Textor side is you never know the small print, how much, do we have a buy back clause, is it really a loan smoke-screened as a transfer, as you say all very strange

As someone else has wondered, will play with wingers? Not a silly question. Hodgson is very astute at using the resources he has in the most effective way, especially where there are limitations. After all we don't have a CF worth talking about so why don't we simply flood midfield etc.?

All gone a bit quiet, hasn't it? Not many news reports linking us to anyone, ITK crowd are subdued, Lewis Hall deal still yet to be confirmed and seems like we have more outgoing players on loan than incomings.

All I can say is that I hope this is us working with ruthless efficiency behind the scenes and lining deals up without them leaking to the press.

We need an absolutele minimum of 3-4 more signings to be competitive this season, including a couple of loans if need be, and if they don't arrive I think it would be absolutely fair enough for us all to be pissed off.

Anyway, two and a half weeks until deadline day so we'll soon know.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I remember him (Adama) coming on as sub for Villa early in pardews full season, we were cruising to victory, but he came on and was frighteningly swift and powerful, he really stood out and we struggled to cope with him. So it’s amazed me he’s never quite hit the heights, because he looked like he was going to some player
