Can anyone that is a Twitter buff decode for me exactly what happened here please. He is, after all, Croydon's finest and an ex Trinity school boy. So he re-tweeted pretty strong stuff. Could he have done that without realising? Is the fact that it was tweeted to him in the first place damning in its own right? Not to be forgotten that he complained about naughty photos appearing on his screen before, only to find out that it was a targeted advert presumably due to his previous search history.

I have on occasion had the like (heart) logo pop up in the middle of the screen, when I've gone nowhere near pressing it, while reading a tweet. It seems to do it if you accidentally swipe the screen in a certain way. Don't know if it's similar for retweeting, but they seem to make it intentionally sensitive to accidental movements rather than making you definitively press the button/option.
