He is on £240,000 a week and wants to leave Turkey. The world has gone mad. Nobody is going to pay him that here, even if he takes a pay cut, he will still be asking £200,000 a week, he will know about extra Premier money.

Apparently he wants just under half to play in the PL

That would put him under what Benteke supposedly wants.

No thanks. We have him for one season at his age then what ? If we are willing to spend £25 million then let's get a proven youngish striker with potential particularly as we have just lost Gayle. This is a lot of dosh on one player however if we get 2 cheaper strikers it doesn't mean they will be the sum of the one. I think we will be obtaining another on top of a large transfer in any case or an attacking midfielder with a goal threat.
