I've been sent this by a mate (not dazza) so not sure how true it is . . . .

That is, I think, about what most of us would expect. Dann and Clyne are probably the two which are borderline decisions, but given Ferguson's ongoing injury issues maybe Clyne will get another short-term deal. For me, Dann is too slow now to play at PL level. Andros is the only one which would really concern me if he left as we are already short on wingers and he is still good enough at this level. I can't imagine he wouldn't get some decent offers from the likes of Burnley, Newcastle or one of the newly promoted clubs. As a side note, given Zaha is an Arsenal fan, I wonder if seeing one of their biggest modern day icons in the dugout may persuade him to stay, or at least soften the blow if he doesn't get a move?

Article is very disappointing and we would appear to have a fight on our hands to stay out of the bottom three this coming season??

Surely that's a successful managerial search? Probably does't sell papers though. I can't disagree with any of decisions on the player list posted above. We've been carrying dead wood for too long.

It is also funny how the media outlets who were constantly saying how old the Palace squad has been for the last two seasons are now saying we're in meltdown because we're offloading some of these older players. Also, have any of these pundits actually watched us play in the last two years? If they had it might give a good indication as to why we are releasing so many players. If it really is true (I have my doubts) that we have £80m to spend then actually this could end up being the most exciting preseason in years, especially if a couple of the youth players like Hannam and Rak-Sakyi are able to step up. The squad has been in need of a serious shake up for at least the last 18 months, if not longer. As always, I'll reserve judgement until I see what the club do over the summer, but I'm certainly not doom and gloom.

that list basically echoes what i assume most fans would be happy with. basically keeping the ones who have earnt their wages.

Yup. If the list is correct I'm pretty happy with it also.

If true, I’m happy with that, new manager with an £80 million war chest, things are looking up

Andros must be kept, wardy is still a good solid player, and Cahill, well you don’t let a player of that experience slip away.He is a stand out professional who can still perform at the highest level, and who I hope is looking at his next step in football ,doing his fa coaching badges.what a player to coach our youngsters. The only other would be clyne if he lowers is wages.
