I don't understand why the available CCTV and other footage not been made public so it is clear to all whether the car was driven in a reckless/suspicious way, wrong side of the road etc. Cressida Dick is well named, she says officers did nothing wrong then apologises for their behaviour. Morale in the Met must be very low.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I wonder where the money to support Ms Williams comes from. Is it a publicly funded body or private sponsors? She is clearly very pampered and spoilt. Met officers will tell you that drugs and weapons frequently hid under baby seats/child seats etc. If the Police are right she will sue and lose and get hit for costs, I suspect the Police will cave in and give her money to put the issue to rest, her case will include why did the Police apologise if they did nothing wrong.

To be fair to Cressida Dick, she has apologised for the distress caused, but not for the polices action. She knows the Police were within their right to pull them over and that they dealt with it appropriately. I think her apology is getting blown a little out of proportion.

But every motorist pulled over could claim this, does this mean they will all get apologises or is it just certain ones?

You simply would not see people arguing with the Police like this in Spain, they do not tolerate it and the courts support them. I suggest Bianca try and do a runner over there and see where she finishes up. If she didn’t get shot (which there is a chance it could happen for resisting arrest) then there would be a minimum 600 euro fine payable on the spot and a night in jail pending a morning court appearance. What do the europeans know about anything? Out means out!

Just setup them up outside McDonalds. Actually a good point and there are portable metal detectors so the idea has merit. Was already done in croydon a few years ago.
