I think the balance or conundrum is to determine whether the hype is driven by the talent or the interest from the perceived moneybags of the PL.

Is anyone else interested in him? Something unnerving about a supposed Brazilian wonderkid, the wet dream of every European club, and us seemingly having exclusive courtship of him...

I suspect a bit of both, but as soon as a PL team gets involved everyone gets excited. Must be hard for Parish and Dougie to tell them out max is £15m, when you see Arsenal and Chelsea dropping over £100m.

But as someone else said, if its its the not right value move on. We don't have the funds to pay way over the odds.

We've got a million time better with transfers of late, so I trust the guys. But jeez, it would be good to get them in early for once. So we can hit the ground running.
