This post has been merged from a topic called 'staffie RIP' by Old Chap staffie was very private and has no family that he has any time for. I suggest that if we could get one of the Crystals (or all of them) to wear a shirt with staffie on, that would tickle him, wherever he is. Quote Guntrisoft at 20 Apr 2015 9.57am

We should do a collection for him for some flowers or something for the funeral? That would be a lovely sentiment - perhaps Mr Apollo can advise on whether that would be possible.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'staffie RIP' by Old Chap What a true gent he was.... staffie loved dogs and both times I lost my beloved greyhounds he was there with a comforting PM to try and cheer me up. Since my health has deteriorated and I'm no longer able to get to matches his links to the games have been a godsend to me and all the other expats etc. Music lovers were greatly helped by his MP3 links.... how many albums did he post up? He was always first to respond to a techy question about computers/laptops/iPads/firewalls/viruses etc. I didn't know him personally but I'll bet he helped out his neighbours and his community in any way he could. I watched "Lord Prescott" on the telly last night and thought what a vacuous waste of space and so undeserving of that title.... from now on I'm going to refer to our dear departed friend as Lord staffie of Holmesdale. RIP Lord staffie

This post has been merged from a topic called 'staffie RIP' by Old Chap I didn't want to believe, will be sorely missed by more people than he ever realised. Even my Arsenal supporting family knew about his links. My musical interests gave been helped by staffie and I will miss him. The word legend is overused but that's what staffie is. Rest in peace.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'staffie RIP' by Old Chap Very sad news. I couldn't put it into words how grateful I was for the links down the years, even when we were in the Championship and had to rely on radio commentary to keep informed for away games.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'staffie RIP' by Old Chap Very sad. staffie helped me with many things back in the Championship days when there was much fewer posters and links were harder to come by. He also helped me with some advice when looking for a ticket during my trip to the UK. Always willing to help and so gracious in his messages back to me. . RIP staffie.
