More click bait alluding to the fact that Doucoure wants to go to Liverpool for a salary of £100k a week. Palace are supposedly willing to let him go at the rumoured fee of £70m. Not bad business if true, but he would have to be replaced and as Liverpool are short on midfielders, I doubt we would see one of theirs coming our way.

As far as I know, Liverpool maxed out their Doucoure bid at 50 plus add ons to around 58 mil. We said we wanted 75 mil. They then signed Endo - who is a DM and a pretty good one - for less than 20. With MacAlister in that role too (I know red card), I can't see them paying 70+ for Doucoure - although Klopp wants them to splash the cash. They haven't offered anything since the first two offers we refused. One 45, one 50 plus add ons. That's what I heard from a friend of a Liverpool friend.

I don't think they've got the money. The Caiceddo £110m was their attempt to force Chelsea to buy him and then buy the kid from Southampton, back fired somewhat. They need midfielders and they'll have to pay silly money to get them and I doubt they've got the brass.
