Valid point although Kelly is 26 so not so much a youngster. I do wonder if there is a plan there to use him as a center half this year - that said, squad does look very thin across the back even if we do look to use a couple of youngsters. I'm sure we will see a signing or 2 in defence.

Everyone is batting on about Centerbacks, and Strikers, but we desperately need a creative Midfielder that can supply the strikers with the ball they need, not the hit and hope that they've had the last couple of seasons.

Deffo need that cam more than a striker even. a decent trough ball playing nifty cam has been required badly for so long. that will give us that plan b and will make teams think twice aby defencivly setting up to stop our wingers only

I think it's amazing we are going in for players like this and what a signing he would be but I have to be honest I wouldn't feel comfortable spending £30 million on Benteke... If we do get him we still need another striker in my opinion to provide some cover for him and Wickham.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
