think part of the problem with Roy is that he has a system. And when this system doesn't work, there is no plan B. Take every club job that he's ever done, ultimately is nearly always ended. With the club team having been beset by injuries in a previous season, probably due to his outdated training methods, then there'd be an element of discontent with the players that leaves him ultimately leaving the job. This is why he's never got a premier position above the England job which we all know he was a yes man for. Even then, with the best talent that the country had to offer - All of them had to fit his system and his way of playing. And instead of actually anything dynamic being done to use the talent that's available. Oh wait he did get the Liverpool job and was done in months as the players had to fit his style, not him theirs. I don't know why we expect anything different. At the end of the day, we've got a coach who's got a system that's brilliant for organising teams that are in disarray, but the second that there needs to be any form of progression - it fails. . This is ultimately always going to fail because Roy is simply not a progressive manager in any way, shape or form Edited by robdave2k (20 Jan 2024 2.07pm)

They've made 3 subs, we've replaced a defensive midfielder with another defensive midfielder. You'd think as we are f***ed for this game, the least Roy could do is give some minutes to the subs to try and change something.

Exactly, if we survived under him then I’d be excited for next season. Also teams from memory his teams were hard to break down. So he would not leave us open Edited by Kenteagle80 (20 Jan 2024 2.12pm)

The look in both Ahamada and Fraca’s eyes when they were both just subbed on!!! My god, ok you’re coming into a game at 3-0 down but they couldn’t have looked any more disinterested

I assume we don’t have a set piece coach like Arsenal. If we do he should be sacked.
