I don't think Sam rates Palace very highly.

Has it actually been confirmed yet? All I can see for certain is that it doesn't matter how long I stay away it's still Willo vs the world.
Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature. The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace. |

This may all be my fault, because that crossed my mind when Moyes resigned ie would Sam fancy going back there? He fell out with Ellis short over a lack of funds so to be honest why the hell would he go back there ? Edited by Bullhorn76 (23 May 2017 7.39pm)

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

I'm suggesting that the Parish fault lies in his dealings with TP (and other managers?) before contractual obligations come into play. You can take Monsanto to court and lose legally - doesn't mean they're morally pure does it? In fact, it could mean that there's some very fine print in SP's managerial contracts that managers aren't used to, eh? This stupid idea that one court ruling condemns TP (a very decent man IMO) as morally inferior to Parish is utter hogwash.

Trouble is that Palace has a two managers per season tendency. Hope we get a keeper.

Smells of Defoe to me. Put up or shut up ultimatum maybe? If the rumoured £6m signing on fee plus £115k odd wages have been stumped up by Bournemouth but we were unwilling to match it then maybe it shows a lack of ambition in Allardyce's eyes. Would have been a stupid amount to fork out and would have unsettled the squad though I'm sure.
