Yes reread and indeed, looks like Monday. Expected an early kick off Saturday or Sunday really, but they must think it's easier to crowd control in the dark after a few beers......

f***ing stupid decision. Prepare for chaos again. Morons

I've just booked the Monday off work though as I'm living in hope . Would mean a 4 o'clock arrival home orso but hey...

I still count on them to go down and us to stay up so we might not play them again in the near future.

Brighton fans are as much to blame. They tried to storm the away end at kickoff time, but fortunately Palace fans who were trying to go in moved the weed away.
It appears the younger Palace fans were protecting families that were trying to get in.

Hence, the Police would not let anyone in just after kickoff.

I sincerely hope that that's some sort of half-arsed attempt at humour

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

It seems this is correct I am hoping (not holding my breath) that Sussex Police issue a statement to that effect, for the National Media. I think our club should be making a statement to BHA along the lines of "stump up or shut up"

Knuckledusters and knives
Palace singing, Brighton hide

The way I see it if Brighton or the Police or whoever reduced the palace ticket allocation are the ones to blame, for what went on at Brighton.

Should never have reduced the ticket allocation, they have never done that before to my knowledge and we haven't tried to get in before like that so that should tell you its down to Brighton.

As far as I can remember, when the tickets first went on sale, we were told that both teams had agreed to issue a reduced allocation to away supporters for the games at the Amex and at Selhurst, on police advice.

Police Apology ...

Edited by kev64 (07 Dec 2017 6.39pm)

was based on information logged by our officers on the night and done so in good faith.

Subsequently, it has been established that no such items were physically recovered at the stadium or in the city. We accept that this information was incorrect So the Police Officers lied? If so what is happening about this? Where is the statement from Brighton?

Nothing found. I seem to recall calling them lying s***s on the other thread when they made these claims.

Doubt we will ever get a proper apology for the crap they put us through that night
