I'm suggesting that the Parish fault lies in his dealings with TP (and other managers?) before contractual obligations come into play. You can take Monsanto to court and lose legally - doesn't mean they're morally pure does it? In fact, it could mean that there's some very fine print in SP's managerial contracts that managers aren't used to, eh? This stupid idea that one court ruling condemns TP (a very decent man IMO) as morally inferior to Parish is utter hogwash. Parish clearly has the best interests of the club at heart and perhaps it's for the best that he protects those interests. Suggesting that Parish was morally at fault is absurd, especially as you were not party to any conversations he and Pulis had. Everything you say is based on supposition and to fit in with whatever narrative you'd like to be correct.

Do you not understand right from wrong. Pulis is a liar, proved in Court twice and ask Paul Sculley at Gillingham, he did similar there.

I hope this is not true and it can be sorted. I am not into blame, especially when we don't know what has gone on, but we cannot keep recruiting managers, we got lucky in getting Pulis, Pardew and Allardyce - they all did a job when we needed it - but we are going to run out of luck. I just hope we don't end up with Moyes. Edited by dp (23 May 2017 7.28pm)

Parish is in charge, he has done a far better job than anyone since Noades. That's not really hard as the only other owners since then have been a pair of clueless dickheads. I don't think that anyone disputes the fact that Parish has Palace's best interests at heart as it's his management that is the problem not his heart

He milked the club - e.g. separating the team form the stadium so that CPFC paid him rent, ensuring perpetual cash-crunches and then dropping the untenable situation in Goldberg's naive lap. End of rant.

Sam's heart was never really in the palace job. He needed a football project as part of his rehab after his England disappointment. Sam was frustrated about not knowing for sure the transfer policy however as his heart wasn't fully in it that was another reason he decided to call it a day. It's unlikely he will rush into another job eg Sunderland apparently.
