Todays second download is a set by Midnight Oil that was recorded at the MCG in Australia in March 2009. This is in superb quality and has been taken from an FM broadcast on Triple J FM radio. This is a top notch sounding bootleg - possibly the best sounding MO boot that I have. This is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Foo Fighters that was recorded in Cologne, Germany in February of this year. This is in superb quality and has been taken from an FM broadcast. The band play a few songs from the latest album as well as a selection from previous ones....... Unfortunately, the encores were not broadcast and in those the band played more songs from their latest album. This is however still thoroughly recommended and one for all FF fans.... Here's an audience recorded boot of a show at Dingwalls, Camden about a week or so ago, when the band played their new album in full. This is audience recorded - but it's a good one...Dingwalls is a small venue and there were only about 500 people at the club. Todays first download is a bootleg by Queen which was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1975. This has been posted before - but this is a remastered version that was broadcast on BBC Radio 6. It's fantastic and the quality and stereo are superb. The version I posted previously on 17.5.07 is good - but this is a whole lot better. If you like Queen, then I thoroughly recommend this one...... Todays second download is a set by David Byrne that was recorded in Paris in June 2001. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast by France Inter Radio. There was a bit of technical trouble and the third track is just the commentator talking - it only lasts for a couple of minutes then the concert continues (you can delete this track if you like - I left it in as it's how I downloaded it). Crackin versions of "And She Was" and "Once In A Lifetime" on this one... a top notch boot.... thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by the legendary female blues singer Janis Joplin that was recorded at the Newport Folk Festival in 1968. For a boot thats over 40 years old this is in superb quality and is a wicked set. Some classic tracks on this one - starting off with "Piece of my Heart" and then into a cracking version of "Summertime". The set finishes with a reprise of "Piece of my Heart". This is a cracking boot and is thoroughly recommended....
