Assuming this is true (and I remain skeptical), we will need a new manager asap as we have some players to keep and some new ones to get.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

I just hope none of this is true, but if it is, we get a good enough manager for us in time for the window. I was just thinking that if we can appoint somebody soon they will be gone by Christmas and the new manager can at least use the Jan window again.

These clubs plan ahead of time when they're going to kick out a manager and line up a replacement. We lurch from crisis to crisis.

If this is true something is seriously wrong with the club and it has to be Parish at fault that is two managers that have just gone and walked. what is it 7 managers now madness. Who would even want the job if you end up having to put up with this every year.

If it is Allardyce's last job I wonder if that is the same as Warnocks last job(s) I trust Parish 100%, he not only like us! does he have an emotional interest, unlike us he also has a substantial financial interest. Of course that doesn't mean he won't make mistakes but Some people should think before they slag him off.

Confirmed now by Fifield in The Gruaniad. [Link] Says Sam decided over the weekend he was done and used a scheduled meeting with CPFC2010 - originally to discuss player signings - to inform them of his decision. Basically, Allardyce used us to cleanse his reputation after the England debacle and, with that done, walked.

We probably never will get the full story of why Allardyce has gone (if true), just like when Pulis left.
