Only needed a firmer touch and probably wouldn't of gone in. That said PVA 1st goal, a clutch of players dithering around a long throw 2nd and Punch I think awful control near our penalty box 4th, all should hold their heads in shame. Whilst it is fair to swap the team in these type of games you do need some leader at the back to marshal the defence, a real captain unlike Punch last night. Also Sakho is not a forward, he was floating too much out onto the left wing, doing well but nobody was in the box to convert. [Link] Here's how we rated the Eagles players at Ashton Gate: Wayne Hennessey Had little to do in the opening half prior to the two goals. He couldn't have done much about the goals, and was let down by those players in front of him. 5

I think you know full well that, that simply isn’t true. There’s now a small handful on here who won’t admit that he isn’t anywhere near good enough. And they now must only be saying that through shear hard nosed stubbornness.

I'm in the Speroni camp, but it's practically impossible for Wayne to play well now with the abuse he's getting. Imagine if he's picked for Saturday, walking out knowing just one mistake, perceived mistake and the abuse starts again. Confidence must be shot to pieces with us, yet for Wales he looks far better. Still not a great, but certainly better.

What are you on about?? Why the hell would I want relegation. It’s why i’ve Been such a strong opponent to Wayne playing in the first team. It’s exactly where wr’ve been headed the past two seasons with him in goal.

Just because Hennessey is now experiencing a dip in form and low confidence does not make you "right all along" Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

What a load of clowns on here. We're bottom of the league staring relegation in the face because we've only scored TWO, yes just TWO goals in nine games. Yet all some of you can do is heap all the blame on to the goalkeeper. Pathetic!

This season we are actually heading for relegation but its clear the main problem is the team not scoring goals. Suppose that can be blamed on WH too?
