I just hope that finally the chairman will realise tht you can't do things on the cheap.

I'd say we need two center halfs, two strikers, another right back, goalkeeper and a midfielder. That's 7.

Outs,

Campbell,Chung,Fryers,Delaney,Kelly,Mandander.

Kelly already signed an extension as has Hennessey if the rumours are to be believed

the dignified don't even enter in the game

No overhaul needed the current squad under Sam with a few additions will comfortably finish mid table or perhaps even higher , obviously main objective this summer would be to sign sakho , after that I would look to upgrade/provide better competition on Ward , puncheon and Hennessy. Would of liked to have seen Mandanda behind the solid defense we had (before injuries) rather than the pardew one , but looks like that will never happen. If we were to really push the boat out I'd like a pacey wide player/forward to offer competition to wilf/andros and also offer another option alongside benteke someone like one of the Ayew brothers. So four new additions adding to , Gk : speroni mandanda/new keeper? Hennensey (if he stays) Defenders : ward ,new rb , dann , Tomkins , Kelly , sakho , van aanholt , souare , Centre mid: Cabaye , McCarthur , Milo , Puncheon , new mid. Wingers: Wilf , Townsend , Schluup , new winger/forward. Forwards: benteke , wickham , new forward/winger.

SA has already said he want between 4 and 7 new players in the summer, so you appear to be in the right ball park. I'd have 1 CB and 2 midfielders, but otherwise it looks like a good mix.

Presumably some are out of contract in the summer? I'm sure Joe Ledley is...

Jimmy Mac coming back from injury, Luca had a bad game you want rid?

We spent shy of £30 million on Left backs and you want rid?

Tomkins has started to grow into the CB role but you want rid?

Dann is a solid CB who has struggled with injuries and the captaincy this season but you want rid?

What we need is 3-4 quality additions each window. Players who will either be automatic starters or will push hard for a start. We need genuine competition for places. About half a dozen or so of the current 25 have about as much chance as me of playing

James mcarthur been terrible now for at least a month. Name one good game his played under Sam. I mentioned that Tomkins had done well earlier on the thread. Luka without Sakho you may aswell have jedinak. I've been impressed with schlupp but PVA is average at best. Dann is not prem standard anymore. I also stated that it's unlikely that many would leave but I wouldn't be disappointed if they did.

and Delaney, Campbell, Flamini, Speroni, Hennessey (I thought).

We could end up with no keepers!

Fans are quick to critize Hennessy, ward and puncheon. This isn't the James mcarthur that nearly won player of the year in 2016.

I can see as many as 13 players leave with Sahko and Remy's loans ending as well. So 15 in total.

An addition of 6 quality players coming in. GK, RB, LCB, DM, ACM, RW/ATT

That would leave the squad in a good place with a one out, one in policy moving forward.

Since he got injured - may not be fully fit. Was excellent earlier in the season.

That maybe true but he's been back for at least a month. He form has diminished

He's been back since January 31st. He should be fully fit by now.

If 13 players plus loanees left and we signed 6, that would leave the squad pretty threadbare. It's bad enough covering injuries now without a net reduction of 9 in overall squad size.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
