At the very least we need a GK, CB, RB, AM (to replace or challenge Puncheon) and a ST to push Benteke or provide a plan B. Cilessen

Yeah I really think we need another decent striker. But first and for most we need the defensive players to sit FdB's formation and for that we need to sign three quality players: Right center back Without the defence sorted I don't think it'd matter if we had messi or not up front... But yeah for sure, we need a striker.

Yeah sorry we of course need a keeper as well. But like the forward position we do already have two. It's not ideal but my point is. It's critical to the managers playing style for us to have three man defence and two wing backs. At the moment we don't. Ideal world yes we buy 3 defenders and keeper and a striker. I'm just not sure this inflated market is going to lend its self to an ideal world. If we play half the season in this formation with no right wing back and Tomkins, Dann and Damo as the three CB. Then frankly we could have shilton in goal and Ronaldo up top. It wouldn't matter we'd get smashed! Therefore in my mind the three defenders I listed are paramount. If we don't get them we shouldn't think about playing 343.

If we don't get them we shouldn't think about playing 343. I agree that we need a new RB and CB but I honestly feel it's as important to get a striker in. GK we could do with but isn't paramount. But if Benteke gets injured we are foooked.
