Furthermore our 'Window' would still be 12 weeks and start earlier but we couldn't purchase players from abroad at the start as their 'Window' would be shut so there is a limited time that players can move to/from European leagues and this could of course drive prices up as clubs compete with each other for the same players.

I'm pretty sure we can, it's called January. Without the threat of an English club buying them after a couple of games you mean.

No club would be forced to sell either, knowing that they can't replace them.

Sorry I never meant January - the January' Window' remains unchanged.

Yes, in theory clubs are not forced to sell but other factors enter the equation of course financially and otherwise so clubs could lose a player without having the opportunity to buy a replacement.

Next season of course, our 'Window' will be open whilst the World Cup is in progress which might hamper the ability of our clubs to sign the top players.

My view is pretty brief on this. Because of the window closing after the first 3 matches there is more chance every season of us not starting to compete until match 4 or worse. All the other issues affect everyone. COYP
