He's the only famous person I can claim to really know and typical we hated each other's guts at school. I never bought his music or went to any concerts because of that. Now why couldn't I be besties with Bill Gates.

Surely the bathroom was the traditional location for this.
In bygone days one used to hear about a "Boston" or a "Short back and sides". On my last visit to the barbers back in mid March some chap requested a "Buzz cut" - I had never previously heard of this style and I wasn't around to see the outcome.

I used to go to school with Nick Heyward went to his house a couple of times. Back then he was an arrogant pr*ck hopefully he's matured. I met Nick Heyward in the 'Bickley Arms' in Chislehurst probably in the 80s or 90s.

Only because of that? Well that and I though his music was a shinola I was into Led Zepplin and Eric Clapton so definitely not my taste. I never liked him because he was a smug little brat at school thought he was funny but wasn't bit of a loner really until he became famous. He made an appearance on Tiswas and completely embarrassed himself I felt sorry for Sally Janes, he's my age so would probably agree with that last point.

Teddy Sherringham and Tony Cascarino used to go in there as well in their Millwall days, he didn’t know them either

Returning to barbers, I recall the shops with that red and white sign outside, and barbers after cutting your hair sometime asking "Any Brylcreem Sir ?".
