Lack of investment, you can't just sit back when you finally reach this league. A good example recently is, Norwich City, if you don't invest you either yo-yo or, stand still. Bigger clubs than us have found that out. Hate to say this but even br1-3on have managed to overtake us, we are lagging behind, and for me the alarm bells are deafening. Jordan is correct. The club has had a great 10 years and we should all be grateful to Parish for his contribution.
I agree with this comment; I think the club has stagnated and is on the verge of going backwards. We've had 10 years in the PL to get the ground up to modern standards and acceptable capacity to signify our direction of travel. But here we are stuck in limbo on and off the pitch

Gutting as well that we've never sneaked a European place in all that time Leicester, West Ham, Wolves, Burnley, Everton, Southampton, Hull, Swansea and Wigan have all had a European season in the time we've been in the PL. Stoke, Fulham, Birmingham and Villa in the couple of seasons before. Newcastle, Brentford and Brighton all in the mix this year. Staying up is a great achievement but if all we get out of it is a new academy which, to be clear is looking short on great prospects, then it does feel like we've blown it. That 2019 U15s team that won the Floodlit cup and was lauded: Goodman, Lewis-Brown, Adaromola, Jobson, Bartley, Sheridan, Raymond, Wells, Akinwale (Adebomi 77), Mooney, Atta. All 18/19 years old now. Let's see how the next year or two goes, but ultimately the Academy's job is to produce first team players and there's not a lot there - just a few U18 trophies.
