Not quite. JRM got both barrels when he tried to suggest the same to a doctor not that long ago. Was forced to retract or face libel. So there is some truth in it. What I would agree with is that no one really knows how big an impact it would be. It's easy to sit there saying that sort of thing if you're only being prescribed inhibitors for the throbbing vein in your head rather than specialist, life critical medicine.
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |

How do you know this ? Surely if a trade deal was as important to Europe as you think it is then this deal would have done 3 years ago. It was agreed at the outset that a trade agreement wouldn't be discussed until a withdrawal agreement had been agreed and that still hasn't been done.

Project Ignorance at its finest. Edited by Alex1991 (24 Sep 2019 5.15pm) Oh OK. I'll just believe everything people say on the internet. How can your doctor give you a guarantee about anything? No one sensible gives such assurances.

I have a meeting with my pharmacist in an hour's time so I will put the question to her and see what she says

WTF? Thomas Cook no longer exist. The referendum result from June 23rd still stands and the legislation is in place for us to leave. The only changed circumstance is MP's unwilling to honour what they promised. WTF? The referendum result was 3 years ago, not yesterday. The legislation was passed on the understanding that arrangements would be be in place and in an effort to force a deal. It was found but enough objections about it's terms were voiced that it failed to pass Parliament. You don't just give up when that happens. You try to overcome the objections and find ways to reassure people. The MPs are indeed honouring what they promise. Their primary promise is always to do what they believe is in the country's best interests. They just aren't doing what you think they promised and/or want him to do. Fine. Let's have a GE based on that narrative. You either want people to have faith in our system or you do not. When Parliament agrees there will be a GE. Right now the dissolution of Parliament is not available to a PM without their agreement. They will agree when they they believe the time is right and not when the time is right for Johnson. We should have taken a harder line three years ago and said we are leaving on such and such a date and will pay whatever monies we are legally obliged to pay and then started discussing the future trading relationship which could well have been sorted by now

If there was an expectation that there would no disruption in the supply of medicine he would have said something to that effect. He said he did not know what was going to happen. You are quite entitled not to believe me but I have no reason to lie on an anonymous forum.
