Of course we can make medicine here, but we currently import a huge amount of it. Are you a regular watcher of RT and George Galloway ? And do you often take on board the words of Adam Garrie ? Your GP gave a non committal answer, which we could do to any future event. Galloway gives you the reality. You are living in a first world country. As for views I observe, I don't just watch those that I agree with.....only the closed minded do that. I probably agree with 10 percent of what Galloway says but he's one of the few highly intelligent and charismatic speakers on the left.....I listen to Jimmy Dore as well. I tend to prefer the old fashioned far left to the modern left....not on policies but on honesty. Edited by Stirlingsays (24 Sep 2019 6.21pm)

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet but the reason Parliament was prorogued, the length of time and the timing itself was because it was ‘nothing to do with Brexit’. If that was the case what are you up in arms about? Aren’t you proving the *exact* point of today’s judgement?

Edited by Stirlingsays (24 Sep 2019 6.21pm) He didn't give a non committal answer, he committed to admitting he did not know. As for George Galloway giving the reality, I'll once again say that I trust my GP who deals with medicine every day over him.

Of course not, I knew it existed and copied the exact wording so you could read it. What part of this is not the whole truth ? The facts are right there in front of you and you are still denying it ? So you are saying the the EU open door policy is an invention?

Exactly! Only took 3 years to get there. The freedom of movement policy is well established and if our government were to try and stop people coming here the European Court of Justice would be all over us.

Strong debating tactics. For some consistency this should probably be a warning of sorts, but I'm not going to hold my breath Tell me why the f*** people like me should care any more about politeness, reasonableness or having a reasonable debate. What have we got to gain from this either than perhaps not being sent to prison?

The UK doesn't control immigration from the EU because Mrs May as Home Secretary declined to enact EU directives which allowed her to do so. Absolute b****cks. There is a clue in the wording "freedom of movement". No EU national is questioned at the point of entry by Border Control because they have been under instructions not to (long before May became HS, under Labour as well) to facilitate the entry of all EU nationals. We were banned by the EU from having a seperate passport queue for British passport holders "because we are all EU Citizens". EU nationals do not need a passport to travel, an ID card is sufficient, some of which are truly awful (Italian ID cards issued at local offices cost about 7-10 Euros, they are far and away the most forged document encountered). I think after 28 years working for Border Force I know what I am talking about
