If the Scottish did manage to get back in then they would have to take the Euro.

I can't wait....It's almost worth breaking up the union to see.

apart from that the latest Polls show Scotland as a country doesnt want another referendum.

Furthermore the wee Krankie women is a self serving thunder cnut of the highest order, second only to the truffle pig that is Diane Abbot.

What? Hoping that we are all poorer and society sh1tt1er? Give your arse a rest for a second or it will get jaw-ache.

If you believe our Governnment and negotiators are not going to fvck it up/have their hands tied and we are not going to come out of it worse off then i admire your deluded optimism.

Demographics make that almost inevitable.

Just another gift that the ideological have given us.

No one stands up for secularism.....By the way It's interesting to see secularism slowly being destroyed in Turkey....No one really cares.

Luckily, Scotland are part-owners of The Bank of England so can share currency (sterling) and for a transitional period or longer. The Government can make 'no' noises but they will mean jacksh1t.

Hahahaha!

Dream on mate.

How exactly are Scotland 'part-owners' of the Bank of England once they leave the union?

The EU also says any new country joining it has to take the Euro.

No country is independent if its currency is controlled by another country.

Ah, think ahead my good man. As part-owners the proposal would be that currency union that has been going on for hundreds of years be maintained. Other countries share same currency. It wouldn't be a first. Perfectly acceptable.

by the time the Scots decide whether they are in or out of the EU, or even decide about discussing the topic....

the EU will have been moved from the terminal illness ward to the hospital Chapel for a memorial service to Mozart's Requiem mass.

Scotland needs sterling to transfer to the Euro during the transitional period if it wants to go down that path. It's perfectly possible that that is exactly what will happen.
