I think this ship may have sailed now Hiddink is in charge. Whenever a new manager comes in you get the 'everyone has a clean slate and a chance to impress' speech so I for one will be very surprised if he goes anywhere

Remy wants to play football not warm the bench. If Hiddink can convice him that he is really wanted at Chealsea he might feel like staying if not I am sure he will really push for a move either through a loan or maybe a sale.

Chelsea are also quoted as asking for the return of Nathan Ake from Watford and Patrick Bamford(which we have already gift wrapped in anticipation and also as his loan spell had finished).

We might then be in with a good shout of landing him. If that's what Parish & Pards want. I feel we do need a quality striker but also one that will really fit in to the squad. Not a selfish big I am.

Remy could fit that role nicely and I reckon playing regularly he would soon be banging 'em so long as he was not too expensive to buy or of course would be very reasonable to initially loan and certainly an upgrade on on Patrick Bamford who just didn't travel south very well!
