Atkinson has joined the no pens for Wilf brigade. He was so determined to rule out a pen when Wilf was sent tumbling in the fifth minute that he failed to spot that the offence was outside the area anyway. Sky commentators agreed it was a clear foul.
Atkinson also missed Cleverley elbowing Cabaye in the face. Straight red. I can't remember if that was after Cleverley got a yellow for fouling Wilf - in which case he should have been off for a second yellow.

On motd replay it looked like Cleverly swung his hbnd back and hit Cabaye in his nuts! Cabaye goes down with one hand covering his eyes (as one does when in pain) but the other hand is holding another body part altogether.
