What's all this "Soft Penalty ? ". Next we will hear about "Hard penalty".

You hear so many hackneyed phrases about penalties - "Harsh" "I've seen them given" "Outside the box it's a foul" "He was looking for it" etc etc.

More of a penalty than the the pathetic effort Everton got against Liverpool which Shearer and Murphy and the flaky Allardyce said was a definite.

Poll saying Wilf is a serial diver...he never did like us or give us a break.

Touch my coffee and I will slap you so hard even Google won't be able to find you.

Who gives a toss what Poll says? He’s a former ref so his opinion is simply not of any relevance. Remember this is the same bloke that gave a player 3 yellow cards.

Had we actually scored this penalty there would have been more of a media maelstrom about zaha and more pressure on the panel to act. As we didn't and there was some contact I hope we should be ok.

Old 3 yellows Poll was the original Clattenburg - it’s all about him !!

He is spouting off just to look the big shot.
He admitted before that Wilfs style draws fouls and is therefore a nightmare for refs.
Moss never gave Wilf a thing during the game and then is questioned for finally giving a foul - ridiculous - it was a pen all day !!

For some reason that bellend has a vendetta against Wilf. Every time a diving story hits t’interweb he seems to be able to bring in an angle against him - even if it’s only along the lines of “if that’s a dive then what about Zaha against {insert last opponent’s name here}?

Click bait from an ex-player who writes (allegedly) for that awful rag & whose opinion nobody gives a **** about.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

There was contact in the box as Wilf was shielding the ball from Stirling. Now Stirling has a history of diving in the box when not even challenged.

Stirling only made contact with the player not the ball, so it is a pen. Big difference on this occasion compared to dodgy pen Everton got against us which was an out and out dive...

As I saw it Wilf was fouled outside the box , stayed on his feet ,just ,got into the box and was then easily knocked off his feet by the slightest of touches by Sterling .
By not giving the foul at the first contact the ref then had little option but to give the foul at the second .

IT was a nailed on Pen .

If he thinks that's the "worst dive he has seen all season" I assume he was not watching our game against Everton.
