City to control, 2-0 at halftime and stroll in for 3 p. 0-2 or 0-3.

I had a look on the Man City forum , and had a look at their predictions, suprisingly , a few of them are worried predicting a draw and even a loss , some think we are a “bogey” team for them, a palace fan was on there aswell , some of them seem an ok bunch to be fair

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

I am back in UK for this game. Last time I saw Man City was the 0-0 draw when we missed a penalty in the last few minutes. I would take the same. My prediction is it will be very cold

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Not looking forward to this game. Man City are an excellent group with a savvy manager. I just hope we're not humiliated like United were yesterday - anything less than 7-0 please.

It'll be a miracle if we score, but our defence should stay reasonably tight so I'm thinking 2-0 City. I'd be delighted with another draw though.

Talk on this thread of Roy coming in to save us is nonsense. As much as I supported him at Palace, I'm afraid he's not the answer. It's down to the players to show some spark and fight hard for the team.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Roy's skill was nullifying the opposition. I remember there was a game where we didn't have a single touch in the opposition box let alone a shot. You're right, he's not the answer to a team who can't score. As to the Man City game we will need luck, spirit and determination just to prevent a heavy loss. Last time out Haaland bullied our defence and Foden is on another level right now. Sadly I think this will be one of those games where they can slip into second gear by half-time and see out a 2-0 win.

Not so long ago I'd have put a tenner on Palace. Just the sort of fixture for an upset. Not this time.

Completely lost confidence in the team. More worryingly I think they've lost all confidence in themselves.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

I predict that Vieira will say post match that we did quite well but need to be more ruthless and take our chances.

I’d say we were better putting out a second team & saving ourselves for the weed midweek match - but it wouldn’t make any difference

I think a pretty easy 5-0 stroll for them is on the cards but you never know.

This could be the kind of game we do score in, as freak and unlikely circumstances hold far more promise than PV's recent tactics (if you can call them that).

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

It used to be called the broken record technique .. I suppose it could be the broken vinyl?

I don’t know why and I really don’t , but after all this I’m tempted to change my prediction to 1-0 palace , I just seem to have a feeling would be absolutely typical us
