What’s happened to Reidewald these days? Not deemed good enough to sit on the bench or play for the U21 side. How much are his wages - money wasted every week

Mate £50K per week - more great work from SP and DF - and we wonder why we are in the mess we are..!!

Why is Tomkins replacing him and not Richards? I find that decision to be very odd unless Richards isn't fully fit. We are slowly turning back into a Roy line-up!

No senior GK, ageing reserve players in the line-up, no Lokonga and forwards who can't score. Obviously it all points to a win

I am not sure why folk are surprised or disappointed in the line up.There is hardly a wealth of talent on the bench begging for a start.

Paddy has the same set of players to choose from that PV had. Perhaps there is a case for a start for Ahamada, and perhaps Hughes ( although he is a booking waiting to happen in the same way as Doucoure and Luka).

Couldn't agree more. Those who were blaming PV and not the resources at his disposal were wrong in my opinion. Expect several pictures of Paddy looking troubled as the game goes on.

It's now certainly an experienced team, but also a slow one.
I imagine we'll sit deep with Arsenal trying to move us out of shape.
Olise and Schlupp will have to support the full backs as the attacks tend to come from wide areas.

Luka in and Hughes and on the bench ffs.

two wingers getting to the by-line and whacking in crosses for a number nine how novel...surely that can't work!

10 seasons and £1bn revenue in the PL and this is what it has come to. Mismanagement of the highest order.

Just me, or does the whole atmosphere of the players seem 'lighter' and freer than it's been for some time?

(as in they all look like they up for winning or going bust trying)
