We're going to concede again, which at least means we will be sure of the outcome and get on with our weekends. Is there a slower team in the league?

Seriously our attacking build up play is like watching paint dry.

We’ve been absolutely awful and having nothing up top. Beyond their goalie turning around and booting the ball into his own net you couldn’t even suggest where a goal might come from. Barring us coming out and actually giving it a go second half could be very worrying. Doesn’t help that it’s absolutely flooded out there too.

Let’s hope Roy can address this and come up with something to alter the situation.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

So great goal by Brentford can't argue we're not doing enough going forward.

This Brentford side are so much better than the Arsenal side we played last week. Getting a point from this game is quite a big ask.

Edouard is so bad, cannot control the ball and when he does he takes way to many touches.

Roy needs to put Ayew on the left where he played his best football last season and get Rak-Sakyi on the right. Get non-existence Schlupp off.

A little bit frustrating. They are far away from being a top team and we can't trouble them. They just need to cover Eze closely and game over.

I really don’t want to be negative but as another post said, we can all see and have seen for the last few seasons that we need a striker and a right back. Ward has been an amazing servant for the club but anytime anyone gets 1 on 1 with him we are in trouble.

And we still offer nothing up front. OE appears to have no instinct to touch. I was lucky enough to watch Wrighty back in the day and the couple of half chances OS has had today, they would have resulted in a shot at the very least.

Not expecting anyone of Ian wrights calibre to come in but surely it’s worth giving Rak Saki a few games to see if he can step up.

Quite frankly I don't mind losing this if it hammers home the notion that we desperately need attacking reinforcements. Wouldn't blame Eze for wanting to go to City on this. Dire.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Renember Dowie's BBA - Bounce Back Ability?

We concede after 15 mins - and do not have a single shot on goal during the next half an hour.

That's probably anti-BBA, or just a complete and total absence of offensive qualities.

To set a top 10-target for a team that clearly will struggle hard to stay in this league is hardly helpsome either.

Got to be the worst attacking team in the division. The lack of movement and any sort of idea when going forward is just painful and it's been like it for so long now its pathetic. How a club can't recognise how desperate we are for forwards is beyond me. We'll probably buy another midfielder though.
