£5m for a year loan. I'd rather not spunk that money on Wilshere.

His name?

Johnny Williams.

i cant work out if your joking or not

I'm not joking - you look at Williams performances at the Euros. He can fit that role.

I suppose the point I'm also making is Williams is either good enough or he isn't. FOUR loans to Ipswich. Either sell him or let him go on a free if he's not good enough. He's 22 now and we should have made a decision.

Jack was clearly attracted to Bournemouth on account of the beautiful sandy beach, deck chairs, sun loungers on which to spend much time as he continues his long road to recovery to full fitness !!

Would've been nice to sign the bandy little c*** but not to be.
If he wants to swan off to that little kazi of club good luck to him and at least when he gets his usual six month injury he'll have a good time chatting to the retired folk on the seafront.

What are you on about? Why chuck out a player on a free transfer when he's still young and developing, so might either come good for us (not likely now) or be worth a bit of money if we sell him on.

i rate williams, hes decent and would love him to be given a chance, but he wont.

wilshere is a fair few classes above williams in term of ability.

its seemed easy to look good in that wales team, god even robson-kanu managed it!!!!!

I think Bournemouth are pretty brave to pay such a loan fee and pay all of his wages. I really hope he stays fit for him personally but his history says he won't, in which case he will be a very expensive player to be "carrying".

If he stays fit, we will have wished he had come to Palace. If he doesn't, we will be glad he didn't and that we hadn't wasted our money.

Maybe Rooney has introduced him to the local talent...
