I'd take 17th if we took the cups seriously. When we're never competing to do anything in the league other than stay up, we may as well try and win a cup. Cups not in our business plan

Bouyed by the Everton performance, I had invited 3 couples to watch the Chelsea game at my place. Have been trying to make them Palace fans so we could maybe have a CPFC outpost in my neck of the woods. Oh well. They were asking me why that Chelsea performance laced with a Neville Chamberlain tinge. I then realized that Roy is the guy who manages expectations by driving you downwards, then saves you for your gratitude. Only problem is you were never going to flirt with the chop if you had aimed for the top under the correct endeavor and leadership. Folks, I like Roy the gentleman. As PL manager he is way out of his depth as evidenced by the gritted teeth and deer in the headlights look during the Chelsea game. Rant over!

I cant see anything that will cause Parrish to dispense with Roy. There is no money for players, no investors lined up. The yanks want to sell, but there are no buyers because Parrish as minority shareholder has a contract to continue as Chairman. No new majority shareholder would stand for that. Totally agree. It will all depend on Roy himself. At 75 does he want to manage still?

I mean, they are only playing for a Champions League place. We should have trounced them... How dare they play better than us, at their own stadium. ROY OUT!!!! Jeez.

Agreed,Roy is a gent but he has a negative mindset big time. So negative that we were a goal up at half time. We were winning for more than half the game. But Roy is to blame? Start seeing the player's mistakes, rather than the manager's. We played a superior team and didn't get stuffed. They are 3rd in the league.

I guess i see when Parish said he was fighting for the right to lose. OMG

I dont get how this Roy Hodgeson- Neville Chamberlain approach can have genuine CPFC admirers. Its not how we got promoted to the prem. Giving Mediocrity a pass.

Roy is obsessed with defensive shape and won't take a risk. You have to take a risk sometimes to win games,he should NOT have he's contract renewed.
