Do you actually have an informed opinion on his abilities? No one knew about Jedinak before he came. This guy could be s***e or he could be good, no one knows yet. I knew about Jedinak..... From reading about Rincon, 6 million or so seems like a snip. I'd be all for it.

To be fair to him, although no one (aside from AussiePalace) knew about Jedi (and it is therefore an odd complaint) we were playing at a much lower level and recruiting accordingly at that point. Our expectations should be higher. I will say though that I know nothing about this guy, but a proper holding midfielder is obviously someone we do need to look at.

Rather see Boateng given a chance. Antonio was at Tooting & Mitcham before he was spotted. Wilshere on loan.

No replacement for Jedinak. Played for a host of nondescript teams and has hardly set the world alight. Certainly wouldn't contribute goals as he has only scored one in eight seasons! Interesting complaint. Is national captain, plays for a Serie A side and at 6.5m in this market is a bargain. As far as I know I have never seen him play but I'm going to stick my neck out and say he has better distribution skills then Jedi.

This stat is promising but if he's a holding player like Jedi, is it not likely that a lot of these passes are sideways and backwards passes? Ignore this, just seen half his youtube show reel for last season. Sign him up .. Edited by A89M (30 Aug 2016 1.14pm)

When he has the ball at his feet he's always looking or wants to go forward and is so difficult to shake of the ball. Hope this happens.

Whilst videos can be misleading, they do give an impression of what a player can do & their style of play. If you look at the videos of this guy on YouTube you'll see that he doesn't seem to be a holding midfielder. He's a combatitive tackler who retains possession and turns defence into attack often through his speed and dribbling skills. At least that's my take. He may be categorised as a DM, but he seems to have the ability and desire to drive forward at pace often in tight situations. Someone else suggested that he looks like he could very easily become a cult figure & I agree. A midfield tiger. Buy him.
