It saith: "International transfers out of an association are always possible to those associations that have an open window". Surely that means Anzhi Makhachkala could sell us M'Vila even though in their association there were no open window, as long as the window in England were open? Or am I having a senior moment here? (It is f****** stupid though because if the Russian club wanted to replace the player it could hardly complete an inbound transfer in time to then sanction a transfer out to England before the English window closed. The whole thing is nuts.) Edited by chateauferret (29 Jan 2017 1.18am)

I think you are right. Unfortunately there are no signs at present that Palace are making a bud for M'Vila, or any other DM for that matter! Panic not (?!) still 2 days to go

So we did try to get him .......PL OFFERS REJECTED FOR M'VILA Crystal Palace and Hull both had Deadline Day offers for former Sunderland midfielder Yann M'Vila, according to French outlet Foot Mercato. The Frenchman was on loan at the Stadium of Light last season but his current club Rubin Kazan were unwilling to sell with the player reportedly having a £11m release clause in his contract.
